Olevolos Project Fund Raiser at Le Cirque

Exquisite Surfaces Manhattan Showroom co-sponsored a very special brunch fundraiser for The Olevolos Project at Le Cirque in New York City on May 21st. Hosted by Bryan Greenberg, musician and star of HBO’s “How to Make It In America,” other sponsors included HBO, Le Cirque, Tequila Don Julio and Brandsway Creative. Over $60,000 was raised at this event to help build a library in the Olevolos Village of Tanzania, Africa.

Founded in 2007, the Olevolos Project has created significant educational opportunities for disadvantaged children in the Olevolos Village. Starting with the opening of a nursery school and through a variety of community initiatives, founder of the non-profit, Dory Gannes and her team of volunteers have worked tirelessly at the local level with the Olevolos Village Chief, Council, and people. The goal of building a library will hopefully create more educational opportunities for the children of the village.
